• Rank is calculated seperately for each security you trade on
• Rank takes into account your gains and losses on past trades and currently open positions
• Rank takes into account the number of winning and losing trades you make - users with more winning trades are more likely to have a higher rank
• Inactivity will lower your rank after a certain amount of time - rank lost in this way may be regained via active trading
• Brokerage fees are not taken into account

For futures contracts, your rank is calculated based on your trades on the current expiry and past expiry contracts.

Specifics of ranking related to stocks

For stocks, your rank is calculated based on your trades on a group of instruments in each stock exchange. For example, trading shares of Apple and Microsoft will count towards your ranking on US Tech100 and US Tech all stocks.
